So I grew a wonder tree
But the tree had a blue surprise
It was hidden in the wonder leaves
And took a way my pride
I found myself a blue eyed girl
She kissed me with lips red like wine
Changed into pigeons we flew away
To the corners of the sky
So I fell in love with my pigeon girl
Built a house white like snow
Changed into a seagull she flew away
Left me slowly turning old
So I tried to find another piece of luck
But I had a blue surprise
