Scene 1.
There is a large accumulation of protests in the streets led by Professor Pauli. They are chanting and revolting against the Emperor. The Emperor's troops rush in and strike everyone down without mercy. Professor Pauli is shot to death. Apollonius proclaims victory.
[PEOPLE:]
Death to the tyrant!

[WOMAN:]
