Mare wonders why Johanna does not seem to rejoice? Agnes adds that Helena seems clearly happy. Johanna is crying silently, noting that this was predetermined. Then she turns and walks away. Mare and Agnes hesitate a moment before following suit.
[MARE:]
Johanna, you do not seem to rejoice,
please tell us what is wrong…
[AGNES:]
Helena seems to be happy now…
[JOHANNA:]
